@Wildstar
There is a bunch of talented people on this forum but I really enjoy reading your posts. Thank you and keep having fun experimenting!  I don't spend much time here but Reallusion has the best community that I know of. I agree, Iclone and CC3 have improved so much lately.

Wildstar you have mega-skills. Period. Nobody can take that away from you. At the rate you work... I fear you will burn out. I've seen it many times over the years. That drive to create things is great but it can also cost you dearly in your personal life if you don't find balance. It's easy for me to say "don't let the opinion of others bother you" but we all know it isn't quite that easy to deal with. Its obvious you will never stop trying to attain the best work possible but don't get derailed by the things that kill that creative drive. Just start telling yourself it doesn't matter while paying attention to what is said in case there is a valid criticism. If you take out the emotion and heed the critique they have actually helped you get better when their goal may have been to tear you down.

Sad fact.. nobody I started with a long time ago is still in the industry or retired from it. They burned out or couldn't control the emotional part and it ruined the job for them, which in some cases was a lifelong dream down the drain. Don't let that happen to you.

You consistently push boundaries and your work is Art. Enjoy it!

Thx warlod . when i call you master, i am very honest. cause thx to you i can put  Reallusion tools tools on my workflow. all artist want diferent feedbacks from diferent kind of people. Rampa say to me on facebook "its normal your passion on your work you are latin american man" but i will contain myself more. and i will try dont be so hard when make criticism ( i afraid to do that really )  its all about make my contribution to promote iclone cause its have now amazing features. the last update was one of the bests on iclone since the implementation of VXGI. and i dont see anyone talking about, or showcasing some renders or work using the new features.  now i will be less technician and be more artist. so stop  talk about features and showcase more my work. like i said already iclone dont need more external renders. and knowing raytracing how i know ( i comming from octane , redshift etc ) i can say iclone today is side by side of toolbag.(on the realtime realm )   just need a little polishement on shadow system, and a better AO  but its already amazing.  i believe this slow on 2020 roadmap is maybe cause reallusion is thinking about RTX . but its still problematic on unity and on unreal is heavy and slow like hell. so in my opnion is not time to rush. just to focus on correct bugs ( have a lot on render output with supersampling distortions etc ) increase the performance more ( i already say on my facebook, VXGI on iclone is more slow than unity RTXGI. running on a gtx 1070. btw. i respect a lot this comunity cause some artists work inspired me try iclone and reallusion tools( like you  and others i dont remember the name ) and i want do the same. sharing knowledge and showcasing works.

oh trust me,  I'm a way bigger troll than you,  it's not a secret!  -  I have no scruples about it tho heh!!  Good things came out of it,  me being labeled a bad guy was a small price to pay.  😆

I give you more credit so I expect more from you.  if you were someone else,  I'd say the render looks really good,  but knowing your skill level ....your eyebrows look like shiny plastic,  and red when the hair on his head is black,  and it looks like he's been sleeping in his wrinkled cape,  the expression on his face in collaboration with his shiny eyebrows and wrinkled cape tells me a funny story "sorry I'm late,  I fell asleep at the bar" ....these are details that distract from everything good in the render.  -  the danger of working with realistic renders is that everything that's off stands out ,  so the demand for detail is much greater.

If you've only been doing this for a year,  ...it's really nice work!

@wildstar   -  thank you,  I'm glad you find it inspiring.  I'm working at getting better at it,  and even taking a small break from music just to focus on it.

as for feedback,  I generally don't give critiques unless someone specifically asks me for it, and even then I'd rather say nothing than say nothing good ...  I've seen your skill ability level long ago when you first joined the forum and it is really good,  especially with your anime type work.   I can never be a harsher critic than you already are to yourself,  that said,  you probably know my comments.
so you tell me,  is this your best work ? ;)

its a wip, i will working on hair and try increase the superman face. to looks more like Henry Cavill . its a side project i doing when have time, i plan make a epic fight between this superman against darkside . i got many comissioned works since december and believe will be busy till april . after that i will stop a little to create good showcases iclone deserves. including make a better version of my matrix animation rendered on iclone. i have unity skills i studying unity since 2017, and i planing make populars unity demos. rendered tottaly on iclone. including somes used on this forum to show "how unity or unreal are better than iclone " and i planning be a iclone developer too ( for 3d content ) but i afraid ppl dont buy my products , cause i am troll :(

Athos ... You're 'out there' blazing a trail ... and you're *productive* - which is more than a lot can claim, including myself atm. So good on you!.
Grab the praise, *listen* to the criticism, but ultimately decide for yourself what criticism is helpful. It's not always easy to know ....

thx my friend. i thinked a lot about that this days.

I did some test renders on the toolbag and it is interesting how iclone and toolbag today have similar results. the iclone also loses to the quality of the toolbag shadows. but now it has a more complete shader. and more control of the ambient occlusion. the VXAO of the toolbag. it's good . but it has little control.

iclone .
