Dear Character Creator users,

The Character Creator 3.22 update has now been released. 
Since both Character Creator 3, and the Character Creator 3 Pipeline Extension are updated, please find the Update tab in Reallusion Hub, and download two program updates accordingly. 

The CC 3.22 update includes the compatibility with the newly-introduced Smart Gallery plug-in, as well as some enhancements and bug fixes. See the full release notes below.
  • Added: Compatible with Smart Gallery Plug-in.
  • Enhanced: GI settings on default project for better visual quality.
  • Fixed: "Hide Mesh" data error when FBX in / out. Fixed unexpected broken faces when dressing Cloth.
  • Fixed: Incorrect teeth position, twisted thumbs, and visual flaws of the inner eye corner for Jody.
    *Jody is an embedded female Digital Human character.

When is Appearance Editor for the CC3 characters coming out? It was stated in the Feedback Tracker it was supposed to be released by 3.1 update, yet here we are at 3.22 and it's still nothing being said about it to this very day, but you're still making/selling CC3 characters with no way of editing their textures except through a 3rd party program (Adobe Photoshop), which everyone isn't familiar/savvy with. Why would it not be included with a Character Creator Based program in the first place? Even with DAZ, there are at least some preset makeup options, if you're not going to have a way to manipulate the skins manually. 

Can we get an update on that?

Apologize for the disappointment caused by the delay. Skin generation function will be supported in the early Q2.

Just to clarify — because I haven't tried it lately — are the Digital Human shaders able to be applied to Daz characters imported (with textures) to CC through Transformer?

Also, do the DH shaders get exported with the Unreal Auto-Setup so that they appear in UE4 with (roughly) the same visual characteristics as in CC?

Yes. You can apply Digital Human Shader on Daz characters once they are transformed into CC.

Yes, the next version of auto-setup will support Reallusion Digital Human Shader and include consistency with their parameter counterparts in the Unreal Engine.

The only limitation we currently know is hair. There is no way to sync the parameters between two engines, so hair shader remains as PBR.

Hi Miranda,
On the Smart Gallery page, there are separate downloads for iClone and CC3.  Surely we don't need to install 2 different 'instances' of this for the 2 products?
