In keeping with my pledge to share several of my WIP animation projects, I am sharing work from my animated project that is inspired by the golden age of the Hong Kong action films of John Woo, Chow Yun Fat, Jackie Chan, Donnie Yen and Jet Li, mixed with the classic Japanese films of Sonny Chiba, Takeshi Kitano and Takashi Miike, and rounded off with influences of anime like Lupin III, Cowboy Bebop and Neo Tokyo. I'm doing things a little backwards this time however, by sharing the character designs with you first before I share any of the previz footage. Everything you see here was designed between Daz Studio and then rendered entirely in Character Creator 3, except for the group shot, which is a still rendered from the previz in iClone 7.

I dig it a lot. I am also working on an animated film that has some samurai type of action in it. Although mine is set in more of a sword-punk, post apocalyptic world.

Some renders of more of my characters from this project. Now made even crisper after the newest CC3 and iClone 7 update. I would literally sell a body part if Reallusion could find a way to give us faster rendering of IRay png sequences, so that I could do all of my animation with this quality... I can dream, right, lol?

This looks amazing, reminds me of that game Sleeping Dogs, would love the story to be similar in a way.

Another character from the project, from where the project starts to go a lot more anime/cyber punk. The chracter renders were done in CC3 and the animated teaser previz was done in iClone 7.
