Just curious...CrazyTalk was the first Reallusion product I bought.
I now have all products and several add-ons.
Do many people that have CharacterCreator, CartoonAnimator, etc, still use CT8?

Hi there,  I was wondering if there is a need for Crazy Talk 8.  Unless it can live track from a webcam or iphone like Crazytalk animator and iClone it may become a redundant tool??  If they are going to develop Crazy Talk 8 into something similar to FaceRig then I can see the application for it being quite demanding.   I wonder what the grand plans are for Crazy Talk 8 ?

I am still on iC6 admittedly

I use it a lot in 2D mode to animate photos and other images where I need a face talking
often to composite in Hitfilm with video footage

The key reason Crazytalk is still relevant is because of its simplicity, especially for those new to animation software. Some users just want to create a talking character quickly without the steep learning curve of other more advanced products. CrazyTalk 8 is unique in that it allows you to create both 2D and 3D talking heads, and has the auto-motion feature for facial animation when talking and even when reacting to talking. This means you can create a talking animated character in just a few minutes.
