I'm trying to make an idle motion and a move motion. When I apply the move motion, my character goes from X to Y position, but when I apply the idle motion, my character goes back to X position. Is there a way to apply an idle motion while retaining the actual moved position? As in, character moves from X to Y position via walk, and waves at Y position instead of resetting to X.

You might want to check out this video (starting around 10 minutes in) they show how to align a motion clip to the hip of the character so the next motion starts with the character in the proper place and avoids location jumping, if that's what you are experiencing. The alignment to the hip only works with g3 characters using the human template. With custom bone models, the issue still isn't solved, as there's no way to align at the hip. Align with previous motion also doesn't solve the issue
