Does anyone know how I could have a characters arms and/or legs dangling in an animation? One character is carrying another character that is unconscious. I want the arms and maybe legs to just dangle. I'm not really sure how this can be achieved. I don't imagine it would look realistic of I tried keyframing it myself.

Thanks, I was just about to check on mixamo. I'll see if I can make it work. It would be nice if I could do it in iclone with whatever position a choose (over the shoulder etc.).

You can mask motions so I'm (fairly) sure you could combine such arm dangles with any position you want. What about using reach effectors and then having them controlled by a physics controlled object? I'm not much on using physics in animation for a lot of reasons so I'm not really up on this, but it might be worth playing around to see.

Hm, i did a quick research for examples how this actually looks in real. Couldn't find "real" footage, but in movies it depends wether the person beeing carried does a good job, "loosens" arms enough without "stiffness". Saw a few good/convincing, more bad/unconvincing examples on youtube... I guys keyframing according the steps of the carrier could be more convincing than using a premade clip... It is probably not easy to get it done proper. Will do a test later...

I have to find a tutorial on creating a physics controlled object. If the physics are too good it might stand out too much and make the rest of my animation look like crap. Lol. If I could have a sphere that just kinda jiggled a bit and then have the arms reaching for it they might work.

I did a test using 2x "Antenna" from Props/Spring Folder attached to the carrier. Hands of the person beeing carried are linked to the outer spring of each antenna via "edit reach target"... Play around with spring settings, don't use identical settings for both to make a differnce. You could do the same with the feet... It's not perfect but usable ;)74% of original size (was 676x19) - Click to enlarge 74% of original size (was 676x19) - Click to enlarge![https://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/d7e1126d-8d1e-4eec-963f-cd75.png](https://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/d7e1126d-8d1e-4eec-963f-cd75.png) Anyone else has ideas to this toppic?

Someone this week was asking to make a ragdoll animation maybe using Reach Target and those spring antennae could do the trick.

That doesn't look too bad. It seems natural enough. I'll give it a try.
