Hi, I'm running Cartoon Animator 4 on a Mac with El Capitan. For some reason the layer editor tab is not showing and I can't edit layers. I've tried in both Composer mode and Stage mode but no luck. I'm sure I was able to do this in the past but now the option seems to have disappeared. I also have CTA2 &3 and have the same problem. Any ideas? Thanks

Hi... Layer Manager is available in Composer mode and is toggled on and off by pressing F6. Layer Editor is available in Stage mode (when you have an object selected). This is toggled on and off by pressing the L key.

Ah! shortcuts! Works, thanks Peter. Just wonder why there isn't a tab for it in the "Window" menu?

For Actors in Stage mode: Animation > Layer Editor… (or, as noted, "L")
Alternatively, for characters on the Stage, ctrl-click (right-click if you prefer) and select Layer Editor from the contextual pop-up menu.
