OK, i found a way/hack!  NOTE this only works on humans

so whatever clothes ( shoes, pants, boxers ) I want to export from CC3, I would:
1. export it with a base character as an.OBJ ( But I did edit the pose to get similar to the character that was created. )
Note: make sure the legs and arms are spread apart due to Mixamo auto rig, rigging meshes to wrong bones
2. import into Blender and align the clothes to the character. ( you may need to adjust the mesh so it won't bleed through the clothes.
3. import to  Mixamo and let it do its magic
4. import to 3Dxchange and go to the convert to Non-standard process.

Hopefully, CC3 will allow third-party characters to be imported in future upgrades

Thanks @4u2ges for the help

Thanks but that seemsa little too much for me (since I'm spoiled by the transformer option)
I'll just have the developer create a pair of pants and shoes

CC will not take any characters created with third party apps other that DAZ characters.
If you wish to have this particular character in CC (so you may dress him), you'd need to create a morph based on standard CC male body/head mesh and import it as a morph slider.
That is export a Nude male base character as OBJ from CC, have your developer morph it in Blender and then import resulted mesh as a Slider.
(You may also preliminary morph a base male (or any other appropriate base) in CC making it close to the shape of the desired character before exporting mesh as OBJ, so that your developer would have less work to do and workout only the details)
Note: the vertex count and order must be preserved by your developer for the successful re-import as a morphs slider.
For one of the possible Blender Import/Export settings for slider see: https://youtu.be/eRATW5bHEA0

As far as hair goes, is could be imported separately, fitted and then converted to CC hair.

Tattoos and the rest have be painted over CC body/arms textures (including some additions to Normal maps as far as I can see).

Ok, I had someone create a 3d character for me in Blender. And I want to import the character to Character Creator to add clothes.
https://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/ed843e88-84ab-4ab9-b096-744e.png

I imported the model to Mixamo to auto rig it. Next, I imported the character to 3Dxchange.
Now, do I convert it to Non-Human or Non-Standard Character?
After this could I be able to import the character to Character Creator? Or am I missing a step?

Thanks
