You can export the mesh of an Unreal scene quite easily, but it is very difficult to export the material textures.
So for animation alignment, it works well, if you are then rendering in Unreal.

Creating the terrain and maps in Unreal just seems so much easier vs in iClone. The Unreal marketplace of environments and maps are very affordable even the free ones are nicely done as well. After spending months of learning iClone I would rather render in iClone along with the character movements. Perhaps it's time to start learning how to use the cameras in Unreal.

you can import the iclone cameras into the ue4 sequencer... simply select the camera and export fbx in iclone (set range) once in ue4 add a new camera to sequencer right click and import the fbx.
the same goes for animated/non-animated charactors-props with the endless advantages ue4 has over iclone there is no reason not to learn it and since your not making games and importing animation you only need to learn a small portion
