As I have no experience with Groom, I assume 160.000 strands is a lot
and probably not achievable with your "old" card?
Do you notice a big improvement with your 3090?
I'm still waiting for mine :pinch:

hmmm , would be easier if we could see your sequencer.
Did you right click / properties / When finished / keep state to all animations ?
When you match your animations try to activate/deactivate match Yaw Rotation , but I really have to see whats going on in your sequencer.
I just loaded the UE4.26.6 Version , they fixed some sequencer issues....

I have updated tp preview 6 now.

Yes I have set right click / properties / When finished / keep state to all animations
I also tried activate/deactivate match Yaw Rotation as well as the other two Pitch and Roll (just for the hell of it)
Here is a couple of pictures showing my sequencer timeline.

You can see in the last clip that the "Bones" are matched with the previous clip but the mesh is moveing in the Left direction and not forward, and the "Bones" are still faceing the same way as the previous clip?

Yeah , is great , especially with the 24GB GPU Ram you can handle big scenes with Raytracing on.
Not achievable with the old card (11GB) with Physics on and 160.000 is not the limit.
Also IRay and Octane are fast as hell (but not realtime ;-)

You have selected the first clip in the sequencer and the last clip has no contact to the previous clip (the others have fades) but I will do some tests here to understand whats wrong....

I reset the sequence up with just animation clips first with the turn right and second with the walk forward, then tried again but with the same result then I looked at your video and tried again but this time I set the Root on the second from last frame of clip1 (Turn Right) this put Jade in the correct place then set the Pelvis on the last frame of clip one (Turn right) and this is the result.



I think I should be able to get this now.

Download this plugin (free) :  https://github.com/neil3d/UnrealAnimatedTexturePlugin/releases

Put it in your project/Plugins Folder ( if you don't have a "Plugins" Folder , create one).
