For the body you would definitely have to create two versions of the character: front facing and side facing. You may have noticed that most Reallusion G3 characters do come in two versions. For the head - your character's head is a bit more complex than what most of the tutorials demo. The head is not smooth and round therefore in order to make a nice looking 360 turn you will need to break it into a few parts. By the looks of it you will likely need at least the front of the face as a separate layer as well as the back of the head; maybe even more. This way you will be moving them around to simulate 45 angle. Plus your ponytail will have to consist of at least two pieces. I had a similar difficulty with dog character with a longer snout and ears.
If you wish, you can send me the project for the head only and I can take a look. It doesn't have to be full color - a draft would be good enough. You can do it in a private message if you wish. Vlad

Hi there,
I would create the character in 2 different angels. This will make it more simple for you.
have a great weekend.

The character will be turning her head sholders and body. The 360 rotation looks terrible. So I'm going into the templates and creating sprites. She needs to move from drawing 1 to drawing 2. How should I do this animation? Should I create two different template files, or do I put both components into the same template file? i.e center and center left? Any suggestions is most apprciated. Thanks

The eyes need to be put on a separate layer. I rarely come here now.

My two cents. Depending on what you plan on doing I see a couple of options. If it's a plain G3 character without head rotation then you could remove/hide the goggles layer first, do all your face fitting without them and then when your eyes are moving the way you want, turn the goggles layer back on. Alternatively you can use goggles as a prop instead of a facial feature and link them to your character in the Stage mode instead. I have done it with things like baseball cap; this way you can easily flip the prop (say replace the goggles with a pair of different glasses) to another one easily, if you wish. If you use 360 rotation, the prop method won't work very well so your option would be to link goggles layer to the face layer or perhaps the nose in the Composer Mode so they move together and the rest is pretty much as described in the tutorial ( http://manual.reallusion.com/Cartoon_Animator_4/ENU/Pipeline/Content/Resources/4.0/03_Actor/Head_Types/Creating_Additional_Facial_Elements.htm).

I've not used Cartoon Animator, but I would assume you would have a layer for the face which includes the googles and one for the eyes, and place the eyes behind on the layer behind the face.
