I realize I went pretty quick through the process -- don't get discouraged if the first two or three times through it takes longer, as you will need to understand all the tools and the way they work.  But, yes, once you do it does go quickly (but you don't win anything for getting it done fast - I only work this way because I'm old and haven't got a lot of time left in life :>Wink.

Here's the best I could do without going into my 3D paint program (which could do it better):

And as for capes...

There are a TON of them out there, but here's a few I have in my collection (from Daz and Renderosity):

That's from Renderosity's Golden Age SuperHeroes set.

It has one problem -- it has no UV maps on it.  Not a big deal if you have the ability to generate them but otherwise an issue (everyone who uses iClone ought to own 3DCoat for this purpose alone).  Also I cannot find a single cape that will allow you to have a different interior color than the exterior (this one comes the closest, but with weight maps on there WILL be some bleed through at the bottom portion).

MMM.....it also depends on how it is positioned on the back of the neck...
the one im looking for is going to hang like supermans cape...in fact...a superman cape would be ideal.!!!.... so long as i could  re colour that main purple colour. ...it doesnt have to have to darker purple on the inside....one colour is fine.....i have a few days off next week so the helmet will be made then..if i cant get around to it sooner....
