Hi, I was wondering if it was possible to mask out certain body parts within motions. For example, if I use Motion Puppet I am able to mask out the legs, body etc...But if i was to use a motion of a guy walking and moving his arms about from any of my purchased animations, could I use this animation and apply it to a sitting character and only use the arm movements and not the walking motion? I know that I can remove the animation from within the timeline by right clicking and using the 'remove motion > Right Leg' but the character would still be standing and i'd then have to move the character into the sitting position using the edit animation function. Any tips anyone?

I would like to see the answer for this too. I, for instance, would like to replace completely the motion from the upperbody (arms, chest, hands, head, etc.) of a character with the upperbody's motion of another character.

You should be able to but your avatar in a seated position and then run Motion Puppet, masking out the lower part of the avatar thus animating the upper body. Facr73...you can save any animation you create for an avatar and then use that animation on any other avatar.
