Just installed face 3d for crazy animator, however app will not connect to camera. Has anyone else had this issue?

I can get my Logitech Brio to connect OK.  But I do notice that every time I open the Face3D Tracker window it does not default to my webcam. I have to select it every time. Also, I have noticed if I drag the Face3D window to a slightly larger window size it hangs and becomes unusable.  I have to keep it at the relatively small size.  I do have the latest NVIDIA drivers, etc.
