Hi Guys,
I need to create a Light Beam / Laser Scanner. I tried using popcorn which has particles which is great but I don't want the particles to lose shape when I move the emitter. Any ideas for how I achieve this in iClone would be great thanks?
Best
Ian

Hello, ian_11 here are two ways you could do it you could use a cylinder, stretch it the correct proportion and add an emissive texture to it. You could also make the effect in photoshop even with animation and apply that to a plane. Hope this helps

I tried using lights (spotlight) but you cant shape the light! Is there any way to shape the light or if you have any other ideas that would be great, Thanks again.

From that example I'd just use a plane and shape with a mask.
