I might have the answer...

QUESTION:   If you zoom in, do you see the person and the ground in the Iray preview window?

If so...

The camera is "outside" of the sky dome.  Your character and ground are "inside a sphere" which is painted to look like a sky.  iClone can see through the sky dome (sphere) because it's a single-sided surface.  But single-sided surfaces don't exist in the real world, so Iray "correctly" renders the outside of the sphere (sky dome) when the camera is outside.  If zooming in made your character appear, that is because when you zoomed in, the camera is now inside the sphere.

Two solutions:
a) Increase the diameter (scale) of the sky dome, making it larger, so the camera is inside the sphere
b) Adjust the Iray "near clipping distance" to be a bit farther away, thus it will not render things close to the camera, which is this case is the closest surface of the sky dome, and you'll be able to see the character inside the dome.

Your problem is that you have the "Iray Preview Selected" checked, which normally should be unchecked:

The purpose of this option is to only show items from the Preview Selected Selection List in the Iray Preview Render. This list has only the sky in it by default:

This is why you see only the sky in the render. By unchecking the "Iray Preview Selected" option, everything will be rendered.
