I have been patiently working through an audio set up with Lip Sync for the last 2 hours. I then created an animated movement of the character of which I did not want so I selected "Remove Object Animation" from the actor and POOF all of my voice and lip sync work are GONE. Too late for UNDO. Is there any way to separate lip sync from animation so one can work on them separately? Is there a best practices for when to add lip sync or animation of the character without affecting the other? It seems like one should should be able to work on voice or physical animation and be able to make changes with losing all of this valuable wok and time. Yes I hear you saying revert to last save, but what if you have a complicated move animation and you want to deal with that outside of the completed lip-sync frame work. I like to set up my actors with voice so I can manipulate the movements to be in sync. Frustrated here!

The best way to avoid that is this : I start by facial animation (lipsync, live face , face key etc) and when everything is okay, I select clip and save facial animation to motion plus (I stock all facial animations at one folder). Then, if it happen to you, you have just to apply this facial animation. I've done that since exactly the same thing happened to me

Thank you. This is great. Is this ability to save a feature of CTA3? It appears to be an iClone feature however I do not see it in CTA3.

How about source control?
Git or Source tree. Then you can just go back, grab what you need, and go forward and put it back.

In CrazyTalk Animator 3 you can save animation data in three ways as detailed below.

Face = Lip-sync and facial animation only.
Motion = Body animation only.
Perform = Lip-sync, facial animation and body animation.

So when you have spent time working on adding lip-sync and facial animation to your character, be sure to save it to your Custom Animation > Face library for later use. To do this just select the Animation tab of Content Manager and then select Face. Now click the ADD + button at the bottom of Content Manager to save that particular animation data.
