It seems you used the regular import function for the FBX file, which will not work for this.
What you need to use is the
Transformer option. This is only available in the
CC3 Pipeline Extension. It doesn't work with the basic CC3.
Here are the steps:
1. Click the
Transformer button. At the dialog that opens, browse to the FBX file of the Genesis model, and then click
Open. CC will start loading the FBX file.
2. At some point, dialog box opens, showing texture loading options. Click
Advanced. CC will continue loading the model.
3. Another dialog box opens. Check
Bake Body Texture, select a
Bake Max Texture Size (or leave at 1024) , then click
OK.
CC will continue loading and baking the textures for the model. The transformed model will replace the default model (so there is no need to remove it).
