Hi everyone, I have got an issue with some reflections (marked red in the picture) in iClone that I cannot explain. Why does the renderer illuminates the corners of the ceiling? There are no spaces between the walls and any part of the ceiling, so for me it doesn't make any sense to get this result. Can anybody please tell me how I can avoid these ugly spots? Thanks in advance!

some hotspots occur from the IBL image/atmosphere from lack of a roughness map or in traditional mode, specularity.
you could: 1. rotate the ibl enviroment 2. shut off the ibl 3. add a bump and/or roughness map to the wall texture light shouldnt be evenly distributed on any surface in pbr anyway, it defeats the purpose.

In the Visual tab, shadow sub-tab, try adjusting the shadow bias to -1.

Thanks for replying! Unfortunately none of the tipps did the trick. Changing the bias caused a partial change, but not a general one. Are there more methods to fix the issue?
