I have some PNG files with transparency. Import a background and want this file to appear in Front of the background with background showing behind. Everytime I import the Png file, it becomes a new background.

I know I am doing something wrong. Any advice would be grestly appreciated. I am loving this program.

I am using Iclone 4 PRO.

thanks.

Apply your PNG w/alpha to a Flat Plane. Size it to fit your situation. It's movable and sizable. Applying it to the 2D Background will not do what I envision you are attempting. Use whatever image you want as the 2D Background, but place the Flat Plane in front of it to use the opacity built in. You'll find a PLANE in 3D Building Blocks under '3D Space' or '3D Surface.

You could also apply the PNG w/alpha to an Image Layer, but you are limited in sizing it by height and width only and it cannot be moved forward and backward.

Or simply press CTRL while dragging the image into the working window.

I think, this should also work. :)
