Hello
I export cloth as OBJ out of DAZ and import to CC3 as "Create" Cloth.

CC3 does not read the mtl-file, i got not Teture

the cloth with the howel Charcter via FBX and transformer :

if i open the OBJ in 3DXchange, i also got no Texture.

What can i do ?
DAZ is Version 4.10

Hi HJ

Try putting a check in "Write Material Library" and "Collect Maps". This will create a folder called Maps in the same location as the OBJ. The saved .MTL file will also show the correct mapping information.

Now when you import into CC3 the maps should be applied correctly (they do for me). :)

When  you exported from Daz Studio did it generate a folder called Maps with the textures inside?

Also if you refer to the .MTL file it should show the directory structure that points to the Maps folder like in the example below. Does your .MTL file show the correct information?

Hi HJ

The attached file contains the OBJ and MTL file but not the Maps folder. You should have had a Maps folder generated if you selected the "Collect Maps" option. Without the Maps folder, you won't get any textures to show up in CC3.

thank you for support
I have DAZ and CC3 running on different computers
and indeed, i did not transfer the folder "maps" to the computer with cc3.
With fbx-export the textur-folder is named by the Character, by ob-export always "maps". So i ignored the folder
When i tested with hexagon on the DAZ computer the folder was still there. :blush::blush:
