A little test according to the suggestion made by "Rampa" to use Softcloth to make a spaceship (or anything else) explode... As seen in this thread: https://forum.reallusion.com/394144/Tutorial-Exploding-A-Spaceship-With-Cloth-Physics

Here you can see how i moved the ball back and forth (even scaled ball bigger) within a few frames so it hits everything properly... The Spaceship is NOT made of several (sub)props, it is ONE prop with multiple meshes in a single model: https://www.cgtrader.com/free-3d-models/space/spaceship/exxon-cargo-starship--2

Thank you for the demonstration. It looks very nice :)
I have tried that too, with a space ship that i imported from Space Engine. It was also a single-prop model and it kinda worked, but i wonder what happens if it has multiple sub-props. Still trying to fully understand how the physics engine works.

Neat trick and nice scene. I do hope in future RL add a professional plugin tool to Iclone for this in future . I use Pull it down in 3d max , got it on a student license a while ago . Its great tool and easy to learn https://www.pulldownit.com/index.php
