Hi team, I have been an Iclone user for years and now dabbling with CTA. What is the difference between CTA vs the Cloud? Why would I want to use the cloud? is there a comparison chart?

Hi...

I guess the main difference is that with Crazytalk Animator 3 you are making animated movies in video form, but with Cloud Animator you are creating interactive projects using HTML5 that can be viewed on any device. And of course Cloud Animator is browser based with nothing to install and works in the cloud. Crazytalk Animator 3 is a traditional applications that is installed locally.

With Crazytalk Animator 3 you have in effect a complete 2D animation studio. You can create and animate characters and add voices to them with automatic lip-sync generation, plus place scenery and props to build up your 2D world. Cloud Animator on the other hand doesn't allow you to create characters or animations but instead allows you to integrate pre-created Videos, Images, Animations, Audio, Music and Text into one animated interactive project.

I would advise spending a little time going through the product pages of both programs and check out exactly what each one can do. There are also some great example showcases so you can see the results you can expect from either product.

Thank you, sir. The HTML5 is a huge plus. I am assuming one could add links and perhaps hotspots. I will check it out in more detail.
