mark_931256 (3/22/2021) Same here. I sent in a trouble ticket about this 2 weeks ago or so asking when will CC3 export tool support later versions of Unity (I'm not even asking about cutting edge versions of Unity, but long term supported versions). Tech supports answer to me was "I don't know". What a lousy tech support answer; good tech support should have said, "I don't know, but I'll find out the answer for you.Hi Mark I'm sorry to hear you was disappointed in the response from Support. Unfortunately the problem is that the entire team is currently working flat out on the big CC 3.4 and iClone 7.9 updates which have been delayed since the end of 2020. Once the updates are out (hopefully before the end of March) we will be able to finalise and announce our plans for the rest of 2021. Please be assured that as soon as we know the plans for Unity users we will let you all know. For everyone waiting for news we do sincerely apologise for this taking much longer than planned.

jrlamar (3/16/2021) And so another month has passed since the last official response from Reallusion. At this point, I have no real hope of this company following through on meaningful Unity support. It's sad, really.Yes, it is sad... I bought CC3 to work with unity spceially with HDRP...and i just lost my time and my money. i bought it because teorically it had a quick workflow to make characters... but the reallity is once you make the character the AutoSetup does not work, and you sohould make the things manually... Rig conversion... (with mixamo retargeting...) Mats properties one by one... then... i prefer make the characters with common workflow... rather using CC3... i have enought....No support for 2019 LTS in 2021... it is a joke.. RL guys supported a lot to Unreal engine and it is ok... but... You guys also SOLD a software with others compatibilities beyond unreal... i think i lost my time and my money. and i won´t say it... but it is the true.

after todays 3.4 release and day-1 ready to go unreal release with grooming and everything, unity export process is definitely need some love. Unity 2020 LTS HDRP has nothing missing except grooming from unreal's character export/shader support. Situation is literally this:

With MetaHuman for UE looming on the horizon, it is truly a time for RL to get their act together around support for the two big realtime engines, including of course Unity! The fact that there should soon be a good quality, first party tool on the UE side also suggests that Unity may soon follow suit just to keep up!

Well... I love this Idea of working with RL to Unity... But literally i am waiting over a year to it.... the things just does not working as they promised, even his Auto-Setup need some checking when you using the version the script is suposed to work...now... 2020 LTS and 2021... in 2021... just is time lost when you exporting a character. This software is amazing if you are willing to work with unreal... forget Unity side for a long. i have enought...

Why does auto import throw an error saying my CC version is wrong... if you release a new version, maybe you should also update the tools it supports.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone here has encountered this issue while trying to import a Character Creator 3 Base Plus Character into Unity: There is definitely something strange going on with how the there is a sudden drop from the shoulder to the arm. If anyone can suggest a fix or work around for this issue it would be very much appreciated. Thank You

If your skin weight limited setting is 2 bone wil cause this issue. However CC3+ Character needs less 4 bone. So just go to Unity project setting and change the skin weight to 4 bone or unlimited ,then it will be the right resultr. https://youtu.be/X59r0mVU4vE -------------see this video
