Hi there, hope someone can help me with this problem: yesterday everything worked fine but today all of a sudden 3DXchange 7 Pipeline doesn't work anymore. The program starts with its welcome screen then opens a window and closes it immediately while reallsuion hub gives a message about the extended 20 off sale. Any suggestions? Best regards El Monje

The usual suspects are always your graphics card drivers -- make sure they are updated. However -- since you are ALSO having issues with your browser working with RL's site, your problem may be more widespread with your computer. These sorts of things could be the signs of disk issues. I would for sure run full disk diagnostics. Then delete XChange (using the Windows remove programs) and reinstall using the Reallusion Hub program.

Thank You, yes, that's what I thought too. I'll reinstall 3DXchange, but I can't imagine what the prob to send a formular via web has to do with disk issues? Can You explain?

A disk problem can affect ANY software you use -- and any function of that software (sending a form involves different processes in your browser, or it could even be part of your anti-virus). It may not be anything, but when you start having unrelated issues everywhere a disk is what we first suspect. But perhaps a reinstall will solve your issues (at least the XChange ones). But do check your drivers AND your disk.

Could you try running 3DX maximized? Here's a description of how to do it. Note that the procedure is on a shortcut for 3DX, rather than 3DX itself. https://www.computerhope.com/tips/tip201.htm

Thank You for Your fast response, but it didn't help. Installed 3DXchange again and had the same effect...

If I recall sometimes a Microsoft Visual C++ video version can cause issues. I am not sure which one exchange uses but if you could track down which version and try reinstalling that. Perhaps one of the more knowledgeable members can tell you which one exchange uses.

Try right clicking the 3DXchange 7 desktop icon and choose "Run As Administrator". Does this make any difference? If it doesn't make any difference, try to think of what you have installed or changed since the last time you ran 3DXchange 7. For example, you may have installed something that changed the Visual C++ runtime files that are required to run 3DXchange 7. Also as you have reported other issues, please run a full system scan for viruses just to be sure a virus isn't the problem.

3DX can be affected by the Windows display scaling as well. If you have the scaling set high, it could cause the issue. Check that your scaling is at 100% in the Windows display control panel.
