So I need to make all my animations loop-able and to do that I need to copy the first framed pose and paste it to the end of the tract. There is no option to copy key frames and paste them. I tried many diffrent things, all it does is copy the whole animation then paste the whole animation to the next animation.

What if you were to Break the animation to a frame or two, and paste that over?

You should be able to copy-and-paste keyframes.

In one of the more recent releases, you can even past the keyframes onto a different object.  If I find the reference (release notes, I think) I'll post it here.

ADDED...  Oh, are you using a "motion?"  Do you have the Curve Editor?  I don't have iClone open at the moment, but you might be able to "sample" the motion and generate keyframes, which you should then be able to copy/paste whichever ones you select.

Can you share a screenshot or two, please?

I have been, but it would be easer to just copy the one pose I need then paste it to the end, But you are correct, I am fiddling around with breaking it.

There are key frame options but not copy and paste.

I checked it all out and there is to a point, but not to copy the whole pose and then paste the pose to the end of the animation, not that I can find.

Daniel,

Okay, I think I see what you're talking about, and sadly I don't have a quick solution for you.
I didn't realize how long it's been since I've done any real character animation, and some recent timeline "enhancements" are in the way of me doing what I thought would be the easy answer.

I'm going to have to look into this some more.  Mostly likely I will take some screen shots and post a more detailed version of your question this evening.

MY VERSION OF DANIEL'S QUESTION (without pictures, for now):

1) Pose a character at Frame 1
2) Make a very obvious change the character's pose at Frame 60
3) You should have a 60-frame "Motion" on the timeline
4) QUESTION:  How can take the character's position at Frame 30 and copy that to Frame 90?  Do that without changing the current animation which occures from Frames 1-to-60.

In the olden days, you'd just create a keyframe at frame 30, and drag it over to frame 90.
I can make the keyframe, but it doesn't let me take it outside of that motion.
There are some "stretch the motion" capabilities, but I'm not good at them apparently, and need to do some learning.

In the olden days, you'd just create a keyframe at frame 30, and drag it over to frame 90.

Now that you've spelled it out like this, I can't believe there isn't a straightforward solution. I now vaguely remember possibly dealing with something similar, and I remember that since I couldn't copy the keyframe (that seemed to be the most intuitive answer), I ended up breaking the motion in two parts, at "frame 29" (for the purposes of this example), and let's say, frame 31 or 32, or higher. I then copied the middle part of the motion clip - between the breaks, and pasted that over to a different part of the timeline.

I hope they patch it where it can be done easier.

I figured someone knew something on this subject.

I just need to be able to copy keys and paste them.
