Dear Character Creator Users The Character Creator 3.01 update has now been officially released. The new updates in CC 3.01 can be categorized by General Feature, Embedded Content, Transformer, InstaLOD-related Function, and Export. One of the features highlighted in this patch is the Texture Import Options of Transformer function. We aim to provide you better user experience in this patch, and expect you to enjoy character creation! General Feature- Enhanced: Nvidia driver upgrade will only caution once.
- Enhanced: Convert slider message can now be disabled.
- Fixed: Unable to load one frame iMotionPlus with DRM.
*For users who have purchased CC content pack - Supermodels, please re-download the whole page from Order History to get "MotionPlus" bonus.
- Fixed: Conflict with some versions of display drivers. (FT #5159)
- Fixed: Upgrade button in CC for iClone does not work.
Embedded Content- Added: Added several enhancement morph sliders such as hand thickness, nail shapes, cheek positions, etc.
*Besides the enhancement morph sliders, we provide some "Pose Corrective" morph sliders to increase the character posing quality. >> Know More
- Fixed: Improper material opacity on CC3 Base Male model. (FT #5172)
- Fixed: Iray settings for the eyes aren't consistent.
Transformer- Added: Optimized texture import process for Transformer, such as automatic texture mapping, material setting, invert texture, etc. >> Know More
- Added: New popup window for V4/M4 conversion let's users choose the correct profile.
- Added: Easier to read names for morphs converted from Daz Studio, and make the names consistent in 3D tools including iClone.
- Fixed: Eye bones become displaced when transforming G2 avatars. (FT #5171, FT #5181)
- Fixed: Transformer crashes when eyes, teeth, and body share the same textures. (FT #5210)
- Fixed: Specular textures do not correctly convert to roughness textures.
InstaLOD-related Function- Fixed: The poly count remains untouched when performing polygon reduction on element with nothing selected.
- Fixed: Wireframe disappears when applying polygon reduction on element.
- Fixed: Progress does not update properly.
- Fixed: Polygon reduction on element can't be performed twice.
- Fixed: Remesh does not properly create a "Textures" folder.
Export- Fixed: Unchecked "Include Motion" does not remove animation when uploading to Sketchfab. (FT #5188)
- Fixed: CC for iClone and 3DXchange Pipeline can't export FBX with default Calibration motion. (FT #5207)
