Science fiction was always my big passion. As a teenager girl, I was deeply impressed by works of Ray Bradbury, Isaac Asimov, Arthur Clarke and many others. Often, when the nights were clear, with small- range binoculars tightly pressed to my eyes I was watching the planets and the stars in the sky, imagining the unknown, alien words and universes behind the milky ways and billion light year distant universes.
Recently , I saw on TV a report about a french astronaut, who prepares an expedition to Mars. One can not imagine the problems and difficulties such a mission is confronted with. the very simple things - those we take for granted here, in the Earth need much effort work to achieve , when several people live in a tiny "room" where there is no "up" and no "down". This story has inspired my small video intro, which maybe, I can one day make to a longer movie.

A good start on what looks like an interesting sci-fi tale. The girl in purple reminds me of one of my first attempts at an illustration using Iclone (5) a couple of years ago. (God, has it been that long?) It's called "The Pistoleers" and depicts a 1950's style sci-fi scene. pete

mayaenvogue: It's just an illustration I made with iclone (5). I was trying to get the 1950's teen-age boy fantasy sci-fi that was prevalent at the time. I'm glad you liked it. I made the aircraft and the landing craft with iclone as well. Here's another one of them and I've got one more in the oven but haven't got around to finishing it yet. I can't wait to see your movie, it looks very interesting. pete
