Modern Storyteller is looking to hire an iClone animator to work on a high-profile video game, The Forgotten City.

About the project

We're a small but punchy game developer. Our game, The Forgotten City, is a high quality game made with Unreal Engine, and is a re-imagining of a mod which won a national Writers' Guild award, has been downloaded 1.7 million people, and was described by IGN as "simply amazing". The stand-alone game was recently revealed at E3 (the world's premier video game expo) where it won an Unreal E3 award for making a big splash in a crowded pool of games. See the trailer here:

About the job

We're looking for an iClone animator to create a series of animations for our game. Specifically, we want a library of body language animations (to be made with a mocap suit), as well as a set of facial animations to sync with pre-recorded dialogue (to be made with Faceware or Live Face). It'll be about 2 - 3 months of full time work. It's paid work, of course.

About you

We're looking for someone with experience with iClone 7, and with a demonstrated ability to create animations using facial and body mocap and polish them in iclone 7. You can live anywhere in the world, and we're an equal opportunity employer. All we ask is that you have a professional attitude.

How to apply

If you're interested, please email me at nick [at] modern-storyteller.com with:

1. An outline of your experience.

2. A link to at least one video showcasing your iClone animations made with facial and body mocap

3. An outline of your availability over the next 6 months or so.

If you know anyone who might be interested in this opportunity, please share this post with them!

I don't do mocap, but I wanted to say I loved the trailer.
Good luck.  Smile
