If you purchase iClone 7 you will receive the basic version of Character Creator 3 free. This will allow you to create characters for use in iClone.

However, if you want additional functionality such as being able to export characters out to other software, or import Daz3D characters and 3rd party content then you can purchase Character Creator Pipeline separately.

does CC3 comes with iclone 7 when i pay $199?

CC3 characters are already rigged so they can be animated in other 3D software once exported.

After exporting to other software, are we able to animate our CC3 characters? Like say Rig and Animate them in software like Maya, Blender or mixamo? 

Unfortunately CC3 characters can't be opened in iClone 6.

Cool! I was about to ask the same question. And in addition, can characters created in CC3 pipeline be exported to Iclone 6?

Character Creator 3 Pipeline does not require iClone 7 or any other software. So if you just want to create characters, dress them, and export straight out to other software, then CC3 Pipeline can do that on its own. You will only need iClone 7 if you wish to create animations for your CC3 characters before export.

Hi, I'm considering purchasing Character Creator 3 to use in creating characters for us in Unreal Engine 4 games, but I'd like to know if I need other Real Allusion software to use it. For example, would I also need to purchase iClone?
