I would like have a pipeline that creates 3D characters from real people with as much detail as possible but still usable for game engines. My thought is something like this:
Photo booth with 250 cameras to capture high resolution images of a person --> import into ReCap Pro and apply to a mesh --> decimate the mesh in ReCap Pro --> output OBJ for import into CC3 --> Unity or Unreal
The idea being to bring the high res textures with the model from ReCap Pro to Character Creator 3, continue working with the model and then output for game engines. The same concept for any item using photogrammetry. Checking to see if anyone here has tried this, or any information on whether it would even work. It would also be nice to go from CC3 to 3D printing using Shapeways or something similar. Thanks.

Hi Dan Thank you for the feedback. At launch CC3 won't allow the import of custom 3D scanned characters but it is always possible that this kind of functionality will be added at a later date.
