actually thats how i started learning iclone motions ...i have no exact set way ...just learned a few tricks in iclone ...but i stopped after things went nuts here ...it was a lot of work. i remember having to use like 5 different softwares at a time just to make the bones compatible , i just touched the tip of the iceberg in cleaning the motions ...so it's still a learning process ...

I have 3DS installed now on a learning program they gave, - bless their hearts!! I just havent had the time to go through the tutorials, it's not a very self explanatory type of software so you really can't just dive in and figure stuff out ...

thanks for the explanation though, im sure once i get through the tutorials I can translate what you just said into english ...me no espeako 3DS max lol :)

OMG, so much drama, and the truth is his collectiion is a massive bargain, I bought it converted all of them , have the glitches and it was the best investment i made yet.

1 - joe is a really nice person, i worked with him for a few months and he was totally supportive.

2 - the motions were not made for icone, they were converted by me for iclone, but after i got the drama i gave up on trying to sell them, and never got to finish fixing them. 3,000 motionis ..thats a lot of work!! now 4,000. - which btw i want a nice discount on the update joe!!

3 - those twitches can easily be fixed - you simply edit them out and leave the space, iclone cleans over the space very nicely. it's because of converting those 3,000+ files that i started learning animation.

4 - joe went out of his way to teach me new techniques and new software.

5 - the only thing i regret is trying to sell the motions.

6 - You are NOT going to find another collection that big for the price other than the cmu files and that one is even more tedious to convert than truebones, they don't have a joe thats willing to go back and do adjustments to the motions just to make them work on iclone.

7 - I like reallusion and truebones, let there be peace dag nabbit !!

Since last spring I flirted with buying paks of these motions. Came VERY close to ordering, actually I did order but a mix up with paypal resulted in no order. I opted to not try again, especially after getting 1-2 sample motions. They had floppy foot syndrome and tweaking didn't really solve the issue. Responses to my inquiries about this just didn't ring exactly right though I'm barely a novice. Then the repeated emails on availability of discounts which had me again close to ordering. As luck would have it, I came across other sources of "free" and trial bones. Shortly after that I opted to change my XP Pro OS for Windows 7 Pro x64 which captured my attention for a while. Then I got engrossed with Poser and DAZ but still got Truebone emails about their paks.

Today, I again seriously considered buying their product. By sheer chance I came across a link to a youtube demo of their bones. Saw the ugliest female avatar I've ever seen (http://www.youtube.com/truebones#p/a/u/0/AfY67LY0xlE) and wasn't impressed with the motions. Decided to see what others were saying in forums including this one. Seems I've saved myself a lot of money by not ordering. I'm sticking with RL products. Thanks to all who posted here a year ago and earlier this year for saving my wallet.

BVhacker Tutorial for iClone Needed

Thanks for creating '.vns' motions from the BVH files. But there are still thousands of BVH files that the people who buy the bvh pack need to convert.

The BVhacker tutorial shows how to convert motions for use in Second Life, but iClone 4 Pro is an entirely different animal. Buyers of this 'bvh pack' *need* a BVhacker tutorial for iClone 4 Pro.

After reading the BVhacker tutorial...

I still have no idea where to put the "TPOSE.bvh", "B_Tpose.bvh" and "TMAN.bvh" files, what is different about them or how to use them.

I also don't know what to do for the "Joint hierarchy value" setting, the "Joint properties" "Offsets", the "Set T", the "Clamp buttons", "Arms alignment" and so on, in regards to iClone 4 Pro.

Buyers of this pack really do *need* a step-by-step BVhacker tutorial for iClone 4 Pro for this '.bvh' file pack.

Otherwise there are hundreds of different possibilities of what should be done first, second, third, etc., that would exist, and thousands of Einstein tests would need to be performed in order to figure them out.

My experience with 100free pack of Truebones :
-some motions work perfectly
-some motion need adjustement feet and time

obviously it is necessary to place the profile truebones in the BHV motion converter file , with the others .

My feedback is only on the free motion ;)
