CC2 is buggy in the mesh editing like the mirroring is not working right.
I was able to make a buxom Red Panda girl. I thought I was mirroring at the time I was editing mesh and wasn't so I'll have to try from scratch again.

1) Is there a reset mesh button in CC2?

2) It would be nice to have a symmetry mesh button left to right or right to left. Does CC2 have such a thing?

I used a motion plus to test the results and it works nice.
But there was missing many bones I usually include in my Blender models to have spring bones for breast, belly, butt, ears, and hair.

3) I did see a mention of bone editing for CC3P, does that means I will be able add bones to my rig?

So I hope CC3P will have fixed many of the version 2 mesh editing bugs. There are more than 1.
I did try to FBX import animal ears but the error message said FBX is empty so I loaded it in 3DX as a prop.

4) Is a wrong FBX version more sensitive in CC2 than 3DX?

5) If I could edit mesh in another program other than using GoZ, will I be able to use Blender to edit the mesh in CC3P?

I love the title you wrote for this thread.
Smart lady!  :)

I think I know the answer to two of your questions, but I have enough uncertainty that I'd need to do some testing to reduce the chances of me answering incorrectly.  I am sure some smart people will answer them before I get back to my fun computer where I have iClone and CC installed.

iClone 7... Character Creator... Substance Designer/Painter... Blender... Audacity...

Laptop - Windows 10, MSI GS63VR STEALTH-252, 16GB RAM, GTX 1060 (6GB), 256GB SSD and 1TB HDD

Not too sure if I'm one of the smart people - I tend to blame my 'phone for a lot of my mistakes. :pinch:

1) Is there a reset mesh button in CC2?

No.

2) It would be nice to have a symmetry mesh button left to right or right to left. Does CC2 have such a thing?

In a way. There is a "Mirror Selected" option, but when you try to make adjustments using any of the Gizmos then the selected Gizmo appears front and center on the character making it impossible to make fine adjustments to both hands at the same time due to the fact that you can not focus closely on only one hand. You can only zoom in as close as you can see the Gizmo. It can even be a problem trying to make small adjustments to the face area. :alien:

3) I did see a mention of bone editing for CC3P, does that means I will be able add bones to my rig?

There has been no information posted regarding this.

4) Is a wrong FBX version more sensitive in CC2 than 3DX?

The "rules" regarding importing FBX into CC are somewhat more involved than with 3DXchange - there are a lot of tutorials available covering the subject, but the FBX version is the same for both.

5) If I could edit mesh in another program other than using GoZ, will I be able to use Blender to edit the mesh in CC3P?

You can use Blender, Sculptris, 3DCoat and several others to edit a Mesh, but again there are rules that need to be adhered to.

With the information regarding CC3 Pipeline available at the moment it looks as though a lot of what you ask "may" be possible inside the program, but you know as much as the rest of us at the moment, so it's a case of "wait and see" for all.

LOL   Now why would you mention that?   :Whistling:

For years, I have maintined that the "Print" button and the "Send" buttons in most software have little "Insert Typo" functions hiddend in them.  I can create a perfect email or document, but as soon as I send or print it, errors magically appear.

For the record, you are one of the smart people.

#2 - I was somewhat sure there is a "mirror" capability in CC2, but couldn't say anything about the scope and limitations.

#3 - I suspect any bone editing would be limited to possibly "stretching" the bones, maybe rotating them, but not adding new ones.  However, I'm mostly guessing on that.

#5 - For what it's worth, I concur with your (Wires') comments.

It's like what Dennis mentioned. Users are allowed to adjust bone position in CC3, instead of adding new bones.

That makes it crystal clear, CC is not for my workflow.
Too restrictive.
