With CrazyTalk 7 (I should use my CrazyTalk 8 upgrade I guess), I have all facial expressions identified and everything works quite well. But <gasp> I need to replace the face foreground image with an updated graphic. Everything is placed exactly the same. Background images can be easily replaced and I use that feature. Is there any way to easily replace the foreground face with an updated image (PNG) without having to go back and do all of the animation again?

Unfortunately not. If you change the source image you will need to set the fitting points and mesh frame again.

Agreed, this should be part of the application.

The trouble with that is, this software hasn't been updated in 4 or 5 years and it doesn't sound like they have any intentions of doing so.

That's not quite true. CrazyTalk 8 was released 5 years ago but was last updated on May 22nd 2019. Currently we are concentrating our 2D efforts on Cartoon Animator 4 but hopefully CrazyTalk will return at some point in the future.

Sounds good. I really have found an amazing use of Crazy8 for my instructional videos periodically in workshop videos for cameos. In the days of pandemic, it is far better to use your software than traveling onsite to a packed room.

That's good to hear but tech gave me the impression that they moved on completely. In fact, the last question I asked (about no eyes on animation) I posted here, because tech (honestly) told me they did not know and that perhaps someone of the forum does. Which leaves me to believe that the dev's / techs currently are not as familiar with the software as they perhaps were back in the day...
