If you launch the appearance editor with a texture-baked character, it will also give you a blank skin. So any saved iAvater that you open in CC or send to CC from iClone will have its skin reinitialized to a default state when you launch the Appearance Editor.
You might want to save a character that has been reinitialized, or just a skin/face.

DATA. Yes you can then add a stubble-beard in the Appearance Editor. I often do that underneath one of Delerna's wonderful "clothing" beards, just to enhance the skin a bit.

See, most of us still have things to learn.
Thanks Rampa. Seen those links but never really looked into what they were for.  Now I get it
2nd thing I have learnt in the last couple of weeks

Thanks, that sound easier.

Can you add a beard / mustache after that if needed?

I will look at this after dinner. Thanks

You can get a hairless male really quickly by first loading your default male project, and then switching the skin to "base female". No undoing/redoing morphs required.

base female skin located here:

I'm at work at the moment but I will post a photo of how I set my 2 screens (one above the other) up using my own construction for my desktop.
Might help you? Need to be a bit of a wood worker to make your own additions to your desktop but its not all that difficult.
I'm definitely not a professional on that regard.

I saw the user in the latest poster but the posts had been deleted when I saw it. So no.
As for being a jerk???? No. We all learn at different rates. Some things take a long time some are quick. All depends on what we already know.

Most of the things I figured out, for some reason beards and turning them off I still have not.

I watch videos where he does it, and I look at my screen, or maybe it is my character, but I uncheck the beard, and sometime in appearance editor there are multiple sub items, and still the character has a beard.

I am starting to think taking a woman, changing her boobs and proportions is the only way I can do this.

It would help I am sure if I would sit and just watch the tutorials but I try and work and multitask and I only have room for 1 thing at a time.

I bought a second monitor specifically for this purpose, but I wasn't smart enough to look at the desk I sit at 16 hours a day and realize it only has room for 1 monitor. My brain is only good in front of a computer, if at all.

On a side note, do you ever find your self in "real life" (I am know I am a genuine dork now) looking at scenes and thinking 'This would make a really good 3 model?' I do it all the time now. I emailed this bar I eat at the restaurant part next door all the time, and I asked them if they would let me take some pictures to create a model of their bar. Monday I am going over their and taking a few shots before the sun goes down, and a few after. They just spent a bunch of money on lighting and interior design and looks cool. I was surprised the guy said yes, but I guess for them getting an animation of their bar for free is not a bad deal (I offered that for letting me do it).

I will post some pictures once I take them and see if I can do this place justice; I probably will need some help with a hundred things trying to build this bar, but email is always in my price range to ask, and the bar said yes to my surprise.

Talk to you soon, going to sit and watch the tutorial, not just listen.

Yesterday someone started spamming all my posts with something about being unhappy they didn't win the animation contest. Did you get any of those?
Almost everyone on these forums are really helpful, I am probably the biggest jerk I have an encountered when my stuff wouldn't install, but this guy just wouldn't give up.

Make me wonder if it was a bot or something.

Good to hear it helped.

CC is progressing well in my mind and I will also give a special thanks to reallusion for their tutorials in UTUBE.
They provide a great way to introduce CC/iClone abilities for people to learn how to use the software.
But they also always help me to remember how to work with the software when trying to do something in particular.
Just one problem with them in my mind. In the playlists the tutorials are organised into links for iClone7, iClone6,Character Creater and the Crazy Talk software.
That helps a fair bit because I can click on the "Video Tutorial/Character Creater Tutorial" one and it lists only the CC tutorials. Makes it easier to find something.
However, CC currently has 62 tutorials and iClone 7 has 83. A lot to go through when looking for something in particular. And they continuously grow

It would be good if there was more organisation I think.
As an example of my thoughts ... CC Texturing, CC Morphing, CC Dressing, CC PBR, CC 3rdParty.
Not trying to insist Reallusion must do this. Just stating what I think it would make specific things easier to find....particularly for me with my memory problems

Thanks Delerna: :)
I'm currently doing an innkeeper who is a big guy and I noticed this problem on the front of his apron. I put
