Hi all.  I cannot change any hair on G3 and G2 characters in IC7.  Im using Benny and keep getting a "Failed to load the file.  Cannot exchange with a different generation" error message.  This is happening with all hair styles including g2 and g3 hair styles.  When I open IC6 I have no problem putting the same hair on the Benny (or any other G2 or G3) character.  Can anyone else change hair on the G3 Benny Character in IC7?  Perhaps this is just me....

I tried this and I'm getting the same error message. So that looks like a bug.

I just tested it because of this tread.
Also I can fix on G2 and G3 avatars hair no more
(no hair made for G2 or G3)
I get the same error message

On G5 - G7 it works (even with older G2 / G3 hairs). It also works for CC avatars when I rename the hair from iHair to ccHair.

Ok, thank you both.  I will send an email to support and add this to the bug tracker when I get a chance.  I guess the workaround is to create the characters in IC6 and save them from there....
