Hi Mick,

Thank you for your prompt reply. I have been working for ages on trying to import a face. As I've paid for iClone4 is there anyway that I can get hold of iClone3 just to import the head? If I'm able to do that how would I export it from iClone3 to iClone4 - in the iface format?

Hoping there will be a solution.

Best Regards,
Benedict

Hi,

Because it is just a Head Morphing, it is not a complete face, the file is not iFace format. The file format iwould be VNS. You can go to Head/Face/Modify to pick Head at Facial Features area. Then, you can see Custom area. You must double click it to import this head morphing.

So far, you can only utilize iClone3 to import the G3 head morphing because iClone4 uses G4 Head. The G4 Head model has not released yet; it will release in Developer Centre soon.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Yours sincerely,

Mick

I have installed the plugins necessary to export from 3DS Max. I am on iClone4 Pro. When I export from 3DS Max 9 I choose iClone3 and put in the name of the file. I then save it and it gives me the choice of which format. I choose Head Morph and export it. But I've discovered that it saves it as a vns file rather than an iFace card.

Thank you in advance for your help.
