1) Which product line?  iClone or CrazyTalk?
2) Is your animation goal pre-vis (storyboard on steroids) or finished product?

I echo Shadoesword's comments.  Animation can be a lot of fun, but it's also a never-ending learning process.  Lot's of great people here on the forum willing to help, so don't be shy.

Welcome. As a writer who started to try to learn animation in Iclone a little over a year ago, let me say that I have found Iclone a wonderful tool but also a frustrating one. Depending on what you are trying to do, it can be a terrific way to realize your movie or it can seem a never-ending headache. There are some experienced and helpful people who can give you good tips here. In the end I have found that working in Iclone is my new favorite hobby. I think it is probably an easier animation program than most. So best of luck to you..!
