Hi guys :)
I was trolling the forum a couple of weeks ago and came across a tute showing us how to make cheap animated crowd scenes. I can't remember who posted it
or exactly where it was posted but it was a very sweet technique. Although I don't remember the procedure as it was described, I did remember he mentioned
the 'Billboard' prop so that's where I started.

It was obvious that the key to it was going to be the opacity channel but I didn't even know if you could animate in that channel. Well as it turns out, you can, so
here's what I did.

You can either do this as a new project or you could bring the next step right into your current project.

The good thing is he's as cheap as it gets [0 polys] and can be cloned and sized [ This guy came in kind of thin so I had to widen him a bit. ] and moved like any other prop. Downside being he'll be in one of those big sets prop list. =(  I'll have to be sure and place as many of these as possible before I get the sets built so they'll be on the top of the list. Hoping this will free up my comp on large crowd scenes.

There you have everything I figured out about it. If there is something I missed, please let me know. ;)
