When I purchased Iclone6, I had the same computer, but it took me awhile to actually improve the video specs so it would run 6.  (It still acts temperamental when I run Iclone, I experienced 2 crashes today.) 

So my question is this: I wish to install the Daz Genesis extension Pack, but I think it's about the same cost as upgrading to Iclone7; so...is it true that DG Extension pack is included with 7?  And will my specs (below) run 7?

(I'm trying to decide if it would be better to stay with 6 and buy DG Extension?  Or go for the upgrade- assuming it does have DG Extension.)

The Genesis Extension is free with 3DXchange Pro or Pipeline. If you have 3DXchange, you can download the GE from the "Patch/Bonus" link for 3DX on your Reallusion Account page.

It will have the DUF files for Genesis 1, 2, and 3. Sorry, there is no G8 duf for 3DX6.

G8 is new, that is understandable.

Most of my Content is G2, I prefer 2 over 3.  (8 is great, however!- I have a small, but growing, collection of G8 product)

I would have been using Iclone, also, already, but I had video card issues, until a month or two ago.  Once I got that fixed (along with a little better processor- a X4), I was able to run Iclone. 

Now I'll be able to take the time to consider when to upgrade.  Thank you!
