I am having an issue with small font size on a 4k monitor , I went to Preferences under System there was three "A" icons to change to small, medium, and large. I chose the large font icon and restarted Iclone 7, but the font size in the UI is still tiny and hard to read. I am using the latest version of iclone 7. Is there something else I can do to enlarge the UI or font size?

What we do is called the "Windows Manifest trick" but your specs confuse me -- are you somehow running iClone on a Mac? Assuming those specs are either wrong or misleading, you will find your answer by doing a forum search for the two words (make sure you search for both and not for "either" -- it's in the advanced search options) of "Windows Manifest". That will reveal all (but let us know if you can't find it and I'll find where it is and put a link).

Yes, I really am running Windows 10 on a 500GB SSD, natively, (Not using Bootcamp), using EFI, AHCI at full SATA III Speeds using an Areca RAID PCIE Card. (Bootcamp is way too slow because it emulates SATA using IDE protocol at 133/MB/s, this configuration has two Xeon 4 core CPU's for a total of 8 physical cores, (16 with Hyper-threading enabled) and 48 GB of RAM. Thank you, Kelleytoons for pointing me in the right direction using the "Windows Manifest Trick" I will search using the method you described, read the posts and implement it.

The Manifest thing, let's you work like if you were having an old CRT monitor. Of course, you can see the interfase and Menues, but if you invested in a High End equipment to work with iCLone, as I did, you expect it to be able to work natively at high resolutions. My computer monitor is 4K, but if I launch any of the Reallusion packages, letters and menues are so tiny that are not workable at all. So I have to go back to the 90s and work with a VGA like style if I want to be able to see something on the screen. I hope Reallusion comes out with some patch or update that let us work with the latests technologies available.

At the bottom of the Preferences panel, there is an option of three different text sizes. It will also some of the widgets and the timeline cell-size. Try setting it to the largest of the three, and see if that is just enough bigger to read at native resolution of your 4K monitor.
Only iClone has the settings, so 3DX and CC may still be kind of small, depending on your monitor size.

This would be a welcome and much needed point / update for IC7. This has been an issue for years and would seem to be a relatively easy fix.

Rampa (3/1/2018) so 3DX and CC may still be kind of small, depending on your monitor size.Rampa, I have perfect 20/20 eyesight, and I have to be 4 inches from the screen with reading glasses on to see the UI on 3DX - if the text were ANY SMALLER, I'd need a MICROSCOPE to see it!! Are they even CONSIDERING fixing that? (along with the other bugs) I was SHOCKED 3DX7 had ZERO changes to the ridiculously tiny UI. ~V~

3DXChange (not to get TOO far OT) is a disgrace. Yesterday I had something I could not get exported (it would import, after about ten minutes, but then crashed XChange upon export) and guess what? Version 6 worked just fine (so most likely a PBR issue). At this point in time I could not, in good conscience, recommend anyone buying it (it's a bit like telling folks to buy a program that only runs on Windows 3 -- it's about that outdated). The concerning thing? Nothing in RL's roadmap even mentions it. It talks about iClone, Character Creator, Popcorn FX, Motion Editor.. and the silence on XChange is deafening. They *seem* to be hinting that CC3 will fill somewhat of the same role (or perhaps iC 7.2? in combination with it) but it's a huge leap of faith to assume it will also handle prop imports. If we have to wait more than a year for them to fix all that's wrong with XChange it will cripple the efforts of RL to get their system positioned as a game developers platform.

I bumped up to a 40 inch 4K from a 24 inch 1920 by 1080. So the actual DPI is not super different, but a little smaller. I find 3DX quite usable with it. A smaller monitor would just not be large enough though. I was able to leave the iClone text size on "small" at this size.

Fist off, when you BUY 3DX 7 - it says NOTHING about a recommended monitor size! NEXT - I have 5 screens, and they are all 24" 1080 screens - I can guarantee you 95% of us are NOT using 4k monitors, so this is VERY disappointing, not to mention misleading by omission when you buy. THIRDLY, you still made NO mention on this being fixed with something OTHER than a 4k set of monitors. This tells me it will NOT be fixed. Thanks, but your answer just made this even MORE frustrating. ~V~
