I have created a helmet for my character and importing it by following this tutorial https://youtu.be/Eg1Uqi9oh7o .
But CharacterCreator crashes at %21 when I try to import the rigged helmet. What do I do wrong? Did something changed in 2.12? It worked in the previous versions, but I
dont want to downgrade. Im using Maya 2018. I use Jade for this project. It chrashes with the base female aswell.

Here is the Maya (student version) file if someone would have a look at it:

Make sure you export as FBX 2012 (7.2). 2018 does not work.

I got the green pass on a simple sphere rigged to the base female. But when I try to add my helmet it crashes. Can it be polycount limit or the helmet itself? The base female mesh and the helmet have 36175 faces when rigged. Also, I get this message when I export out from Maya but I heard that it is ignoreable. I will try to model the helmet in one mesh tomorrow, need some sleep now.

I have this same problem @ 21%
Testing with a default CC, imported into Akeytsu Version 1.0.1 (out of beta)
then as an unmodified Character saved back to FBX and tried to import into CC with the Key.. crashes.
I've also tried importing into Maya 2014 which throws the following errors:
