Maybe it is already possible, but I did not find it after a search on the internet and the forum.

Wouldn't it be lovely to add comments or notes for internal use in the timeline (or anywhere in the project - haven't found any place in the editor to add a comment) ? It would help a lot in creating a good workflow if different people are involved. But even for single user it can be very handy ! I'm currently working on a scene I need to make one picture of and I arranged everything so that frame 56 is the one (allowed me to play with the animations of the different actors). Now I need to keep that frame number somewhere written external, otherwise I would just add it in the project and forget it forever !

On project level would be good enough, but on object level would be even greater !

You can add unlimited number of flags on a project level. See the screenshot below:

You can add notes to the Timeline.

Right click at on the "Project" line in the Timeline at the point where you need the notes and select "Add Flag"

You can now give the Flag a title and add notes:

After you click on "Apply" the Flag shows up on the Timeline:

When you hover the mouse cursor over the Flag symbol the title will be show, double clicking on the Flag symbol opens the panel and you can read the notes.

This does not work on object related tracks, only on the Project track.

Edit:
I see that 4u2ges was quicker.

Thanks Wires and 4U2Ges !
Hopefully when someone searches for 'comment', 'notes' and 'iclone', they will stumble upon this thread and have the answer right away !
The damn thing is called 'Flags' Smile
I was already surprised that I would be the first one with this remark
