Hello, I have a bunch of old BVH files I would love to be able to use with iClone but I'm not sure this is possible. Is there a tutorial someone can point me to? Thanks!

You should be able to bring in a BVH then convert the bone structure to a non-standard this retargets everything so the motions will work within Iclone. you have to assign the bones then configure the T-pose and then test (bit of trial and error.) Make sure you save the T-pose because if your coming in from the same source you should be able to use it again and not have to go through the tedious process of setting it.

Paul, The latest XChange works fine for me. Granted, I have Pipeline, but it's never stopped working (good thing, as all the Kinect animations I capture come in as BVH files).

Does it recognize them as Kinect BVH? or just bring it in BVH then have to convert to Non standard? I also have pipeline. Kelleytoons (9/30/2017) Paul,

They are definitely NOT Kinect BVH -- I'm capturing with iPisoft. I bring them in, convert them to non-standard (using a profile I previously saved) and then save out again as an .RLMotion file. Tried it just now to be sure and works fine.

You only need "Pro" to import BVH and FBX. Pipeline just adds export of those two.

.Thanks Rampa, I'm aware, just wanted to let Mike know we were using same version exactly...
