Just wanted to finish up by stating, like all other software mysteries, the planets finally aligned and another install (hopefully the last) got things ironed out.

Hi guys.  I know this is an old thread, but the same thing, crosshairs and all, is happening to me.   I was able to save ONE animation which turned out great for a first project, and then BANG, no workie.  I rebooted twice and still, NADA.  

As anyone discovered a fix to this yet?

Hi please could someone help me and my friend..
Everytime we finish a project and would like to export to video format, it doesn't work.
No window pops up to save as a Mp4 or as a picture... Only a cross-hair appears over project and does nothing..
Please could i get some technical advice as to why i can't get the export video/image window to open and work?
