Otoy are also supporting it and eventually ORBX will ditch Alembic caches for glTF.
I put in a request for both glTF and USD support a couple years ago and keep on pushing for it. USD is picking up steam in VFX software (already supported in Maya and a few others) and Reallusion needs a system for full scene transport.
It is really hard to get off FBX though and FBX like PSD is really challenging to develop around as Autodesk makes poorly documented changes every year. Reallusion is very far behind in their FBX support.
In general I would like to see Reallusion support the VFX Platform first then as formats take off they evaluate then for inclusion into their tools where they makes sense. This will better help them exist happily as a pipeline tool and work well with 3rd party software.
