Hi to one and all. I have purchased the (Task Force Combo set) and the question is can I copy the clothing from CC to IC7 because I find it bit tedious having to go back into CC just to change head wear or any other item of clothing. Any help would be much appreciated. Best Regards George

You can't directly just copy the items from you CC Folders to your iClone Folders, but in iClone you can save CC items in your Custom folders for later use inside iClone.

Hi Gerry I have tried doing that but it won't let you detach the item to save to custom.

Hi George, here is how it is done. 1. On the character, click the clothing item you want to save. You can also select it in the Scene Manager. 2. In the Content Manager, click the Avatar icon, and then select the Custom tab. 3. Click Body Part and then select the particular category of your clothing item. For clothing that would be CC Cloth, for shoes and boots that would be CC Shoes, etc. In the image below I have selected CC Cloth because I want to save a pair of pants. 4. With your clothing item still selected, click the " +" sign. The item will now be saved.

Hi animagic your suggestion worked to a point but when you apply motion the does not stay attached see below. plus there is no way of attaching it looks as if I shall have the tedious task of backwards and forwards.

Looks like this only happens on the Task Force Combo clothing.

I just bought the same pack, so I'll see if I can find a reason why it doesn't work. Actually, looking at your screen capture again, I notice that you have Physics activated for the bandana, so there is probably a Softcloth Physics clip (in the timeline). If you apply movement to cloth, it keeps its old position until you run the cloth simulation again (running By Frame). For now I think it's easiest to delete the bandana Softcloth clip, which should return the bandana to its proper position. You can worry about Physics later.

Hi animagic I have tried it again this morning and now it's working just fine and this is without touching the any of the Physics buttons and the thing I didn't do anything different from yesterday.
On the intro tutorial he use the action movie motion pack if you have the old WWII pack these motion works just as well. Thank you very much for your input.
Best Regards George

I'm glad it worked. Good to know about the WW II animations; I have those I believe. After I bought the Task Force Pack I wondered how do we animate these?...
