I would love to be able to save characters that I change in character creator, or at least make it so that any sprite changes we make in Composer Mode "stick" when they go back to stage mode. It would save me a lot of time to have a stable of varied characters (clothing changes especially) in the same style to use in a series.

Unless I'm mistaken, I'm pretty sure this is already available. In com, poser mode, open the content manager panel. at the bottom of that, there a big button with a plus symbol. click on that to save your customized character.
