Thank you for your reply. I will download the trial version at some point to see what's included in the software. My concern was anything that's not included will have to be purchased at additional cost. I will need to get a good idea of what assets I will need to purchase before I take the plunge. Thanks for your reply.

iClone comes with a collection of "Basic" motions, there are also Characters, Props, Terrains, some Trees, Grass and Water. Also included are Materials/Textures, Sky domes and even some sounds. Just about anything can be animated inside iClone, and motions can not only be edited but you can also create and save your own if you have the skills. The Content Marketplace also contains a wide collection of assets that can be downloaded for free.

With just the Default content provided it is possible for a beginner to create their own basic animated scenes, the best way to find out is to download the 30 day trial that comes with most of the default assets.

Does Iclone have built-in animations for human characters and props? I was browsing the content store and saw a number of motion libraries in there. I assume those are optional add-ons. I currently do not have iclone. I want to know if the iclone7 comes with any built-in library of characters, props, animations and tools. It is not clear what tools and assets are built into the iclone.

I am thinking about getting a bundle which includes 3dexchange and character creator at the very least. Does iclone include the animations like: Walking, talking, dancing, jumping, idle pose, emotion expressions. Also if you have objects in iclone, can you animate them? These would include throwing objects, sliding, stretching, rolling...things like that.

If anyone can provide me a list of what's included in the basic iclone software itself, that will be great. I appreciate your help. Thanks.
