Where is the FBX decrypt key when exporting from iClone 7 or 3DXhange 7? How do I get my iClone characters or 3dXchange characters into character creator if it keeps asking for a decrypt key and doesn't provide one?

You can only edit CC characters in CC -- so the way to do it from iClone is just choose "Edit in Character Creator".

As stated to move a character between iClone and CC (and vice versa) just use the "Edit In Character Creator" button or the "Export To iClone" buttons. The decrypt key, as far as I know, is only needed when exporting content out of iClone platform (via 3DXChange) which has licensing attached. Even when exporting characters and free contents, I don't get this messages (although I only export to OBJ since I only have 3DXChange Pro not Pipeline).

Ok thanks - I had another similar issue recently. I'm new and I find working between these various programs challenging because I do not know what is possible when working between them.
I recently made a female in character creator - attached breast springs and an animation in 3dxchange and tried to import her into iClone 7 to further modify her animation. She was only being imported as a "Prop" so the animation did not work. So how is this one fixable?

The key is generated when you export a character from CC. This is the only way it is generated. You then need that key to re-import that character into CC. 3DXchange will not need it. You would re-import it after you make clothing for it. If you do not have 3DXchange Pipeline, you will not be able to export from CC. In that case, Reallusion provides CC bases in FBX format, along with corresponding keys. You can use these bases for modeling clothing. You then re-import the base with the clothing attached and weighted. The key is needed at this step, and only this step.
